Has anyone noticed semi-recent (since ~2008) defections from the establishment?
(any country, either party)

Specifically I mean well-credentialed prestigious people who "went off script" and either had to quit or be removed from their positions.

I've noticed a couple:

• Catherine Austin Fitts,
• Dr Astrid Stuckelberger
• Dr Chris Martenson

The big things that generally seemed to be the final straw for these people are either:

• The unsustainability of western society as a whole (ecologically, economically, socially)
• Crimes committed by government and government agencies
• Coverups, or other integrity deficits

I'd love to follow the work of any notable ones. I have a feeling that this process is accelerating.
