@benis_redux K is for Grease fires. There might be one for chemical (like magnesium) fires but I don't know it.

@thatguyoverthere @benis_redux Now that I think about it K probably can be used for metal, because it's non water based foam.

I don't know if something like alkalines can all be () extinguished with K however. That doesn't sound like a common enough fire.

However I know some chemicals, complicated ones, cannot be extinguished and your policy just becomes containment.

Something like a tire fire for example.
