@splitshockvirus good luck bro the world of keyboard autism is something else. I went on an adventure with that during 2020 because I had nothing better to do.

@RustyCrab I'm not that far into keyboard autism. I already have a filco ninja, been using it for 3 years. Want another one for my left hand because this Logitech MX low profile one sucks dick and the spacing is wrong.

@splitshockvirus @RustyCrab Do not and i repeat do not get into keyboards in the slightest

@dcc @RustyCrab

I just want a bog standard keyboard that doesn't suck dick.

Rather spend money on guns otherwise.

@splitshockvirus @RustyCrab I have a very simple sk 108 with clickz's and my greek and english keycaps. Honestly getting a bog standard keyboard that does not suck does not exist lol.

@dcc @RustyCrab

Nah there are a bunch of manufacturers that make bog standard keyboards that all functional do the same thing. It's only when you get into the smaller form factors do they take creative liberties which start to make me not like them.

If I had all the space in the world I'd get some ancient IBM keyboards that weigh 20lbs, but that's not the reality I live in.

I'm using CoolerMaster MasterKeys Pro L RGB. I hate Cherry MX Red switches mine came with, I really wanted it to be more clicky — but it's my fault, there are options, I just confused Reds for something else. Otherwise it's a decent keyboard and the layout is as standard as it can get. Everything is configurable from keyboard itself, I don't think any software is required. The only thing that's done in a kinda retarded way in it are macros — if you need those, definitely don't get it. And as it's CM, it's widely available. Check it out, maybe it'll suit you: https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/peripheral/keyboards/masterkeys-pro-l/

Another thing that came to mind: https://www.wasdkeyboards.com/
I haven't used these myself, but I've read good things. They look serviceable as much as it's possible for a keyboard and utilize the same "no bullshit" approach. But yeah, they aren't cheap. Still, were I looking for a keyboard right now, I'd probably get one of theirs.
