Hand has not improved, and it's unlikely I will be able to see a neurologist this week.
I am pondering at what point I should consider this an emergency and check into a hospital.
@splitshockvirus what did you do to your hand?
@orbitalmartian I think I pinched a nerve. Some of my fingers have gone semi numb and it's been a few days.
@splitshockvirus ooh that sounds bad.
@splitshockvirus It's a good idea to have it checked out, but don't panic - nerve stuff takes like 3-4 weeks to heal.
(I did something to my neck once and it was sore with restricted movement. The cure ended up being "don't mess with it" for about a month.)

That's good to know I forgot to ask the PA how long it takes to heal. I was just told to take some ibuprofen which hasn't been effective. It's not painful but it feels like I'm typing on ice on my keyboard.
@splitshockvirus Yeah but definitely see a doctor/specialist when you can.
For now you might want to soak your hand in warm water occasionally to relax the muscles (muscle tension can trigger a bunch of other issues) and obviously watch out for bad ergonomics, don't over-use that hand with phones and computers, take breaks, etc.
Hot water was a good idea. But no affect.
I'm just going to be zooted out of my mind on painkillers until Monday I suppose. No vidya games for me I guess either.
