So 7s are annoying, because its kind of an odd number unlike 6 or 8.

You know 4x7 is 28 because, well 2x7 you know is 14, so if you have two of those you get 28 because 14+14 is 28, or you know 3x7 is 21 so if you just add another 7 to that 21 turns into 28.

7x7 is annoying but I know 6x6 is 36. if you add another six to that you get 42 and if you add seve to that number you get 49. 7x8 is annoying but you know what 7x4 is so if you just add two 28s you'll get 56.

Sometimes adding certain numbers is hard or annoy so you can do this instead.

You know that half of 50 is 25, and you know that 25 is smaller than 28, so to make it easier to add 28s together without needing to carry additions, you can just do this.

28 - 25 = 3

the 3 is your remainder. So 25+25=50+ (2*3)=56 which is your 7x8
